About

Mohammed (Mo) holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. His passion lies in data center operations and utilizing engineering solutions to establish highly reliable, safe, sustainable and optimized environments.

Currently, Mo manages Data Center Operations at Microsoft. Prior to this role, he managed operations within the 4th largest petrochemical complex in North America with ExxonMobil. Additionally, he co-founded a fragrance selling business and spent several years working as a soccer referee.

Originally from Chicago, Mo pursued his studies in West Lafayette, IN, Baton Rouge, LA and Shanghai, China. He has also resided in Jordan and worked in Cincinnati, Houston, and Baton Rouge. Currently, he is based in Chicago. Mo has a fondness for books, Jiu Jitsu, and playing cards.
